Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent cables of condolences and sympathy to Li Keqiang, the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China and party secretary of the State Council, on the victims of the earthquake which struck southwest China’s Sichuan province earlier yesterday.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani has also sent a similar cable to the Chinese premier.
