DOHA: The Advisory Council held on Monday morning its ordinary weekly meeting of its 42nd regular session under the chairmanship of HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi at its White Palace headquarters .
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read the agenda which was then agreed upon. Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
During the session, the Advisory Council discussed a report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (26) of 2005 on issuing a law regulating tenders and auctions.
The Council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the cabinet. (QNA)
