Doha: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday arrested two persons who were trying to sell ancient coins worth $7,000 each.
After getting information that an Arab and another European were trying to sell antique coins, the department began a search and investigation operation which led to their arrest. During interrogation, he admitted that he had brought coins from abroad as per the agreement with his accomplice to sell the coins for $7,000 a piece.
