Qatar & Bulgaria sign MoU in the field of ports

Doha: Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti met with Bulgarian Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski in Sofia and discussed issues of mutual interests between the two countries.
Both the ministers witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Qatar and Bulgaria for bilateral cooperation in the field of ports. The MoU was signed at the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications by Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, CEO, Qatar Ports Management Company and Anguel Zabourtov, Director General, the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company.
The Qatari Minister also held a meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart. It was attended by Mohammed Ali Saed Al Nuaimi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bulgaria and members of the Qatari delegation representing transport and communications sectors.
Talks centred on topics of common interest between the two friendly countries in the fields of transport and communications and ways of enhancing them. The two officials also stressed the importance of expertise exchange in the fields of civil aviation, information technology, e-government and cybersecurity.The Peninsula
