Beirut: Lebanon's Foreign Ministry condemned storming and vandalizing the Qatari embassy building in Khartoum, calling for respecting the immunity and inviolability of diplomatic headquarters in accordance with the rules of international law and Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
In a statement, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of all Sudanese parties' commitment to the declaration of the recent Arab summit in Jeddah to resolve the political differences by peaceful means, give priority to the language of dialogue, preserve the unity, sovereignty and stability of brotherly Sudan, and lift the suffering of its people.
