Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School has achieved remarkable success in the and Qatar Debate League (QSDL) 2025-26 season, showcasing excellence in debating, critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork on one of Qatar’s most competitive academic platforms.
The school’s QSDL Boys Team comprising Dhanvin Dileep, Umesh Ganesan, and Raaghav Arangaswamy delivered an exceptional performance by securing the Runner-Up position at the prestigious QSDL Boys Grand Finals 2025-26. Competing against 58 teams from 35 schools, the team advanced through the league rounds to reach the grand finale, demonstrating outstanding debating skill, confidence, and perseverance.
The prizes were presented by Khalid Ibrahim, Communication Specialist, Qatar Foundation, the Guest of Honour for the Boys League.
Adding to the school’s success, Birla Public School secured Third Position in the Open Schools Category in the QSDL Girls Division, achieving an impressive 10 wins and an ATSS (Average Total Speaker Score) of 986.34. This accomplishment places the school among the top-performing institutions in Qatar’s debating circuit.
The recognition was conferred during the QDL Awards Ceremony by Reem Al Mosallam, Communications Manager, Qatar Foundation. The league witnessed participation from 86 teams representing 43 schools across the Open and EFL divisions (English as foreign language), providing students with a dynamic platform to demonstrate their research, analytical reasoning, and communication abilities.
These achievements reflect Birla Public School’s continued focus on nurturing articulate, confident, and intellectually capable students who excel on highly competitive academic platforms.
