Doha: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted the second in the series of ‘Online’ talk shows planned to be conducted through the ICC Student’s Forum, on June 17, 2021 on the topic of “Happiness and holistic development in student’s life”.
ICC President P N Babu Rajan in his speech highlighted the importance of happiness in everyone’s life and appreciated the Guest Principal for selecting this very important topic. He also praised students for coming forward and asking questions to clear their doubts through renowned academicians.
As a keynote speaker and renowned academician and Principal of DPS Modern Indian School Asna Nafees emphasised on the need of happiness for overall growth and development of a student. She said that happiness is best increased by sharing and caring for others. She answered the queries and questions raised by students and cleared their doubts with her vast knowledge and experience. The session was very informative and was highly appreciated by all.
The event was hosted by Head of Activity Coordinator & Education Kamla Thakur and conducted by Head of Cultural Activities Shweta Koshti. Arya Kanade of DPS Modern Indian School welcomed the guest and attendees, Arya Nanda Devi of Ideal Indian School expressed the vote of thanks. Over 20 students put forward their questions which were answered satisfactorily by the Guest Speaker.
ICC Vice President Subramanya Hebbagelu and all ICC committee members took an active part in successfully conducting the event which was attended by students of various Indian schools, parents, and other prominent members of the community.
