Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened lower on Sunday, losing 7.50 points, or 0.07%, to reach 10,503 points, compared to the previous session's close, under pressure from five sectors.
Market data showed declines in the Real Estate sector by 0.07%, Telecoms (-0.22%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.40%), Insurance (-0.52%), and Transportation (-0.53%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Consumer Goods and Services (+0.51%) and Industrials (+0.31%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 48.679 million, with 18.272 million shares traded in 2,425 transactions.
