DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Sunday 9.16 points or 0.10 percent to 9,540.71 points from the previous closing of 9,549.87 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 5,425,732 from 6,121,204 on last day, and the value of shares decreased to QR244,042,487.53 from QR252,087,245.53 Thursday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.90 percent to QR164.50, Barwa Real Estate lost 0.73 percent to QR27.10, Qatar Electricity and Water fell 1.53 percent to QR161.40 and Qatar Insurance down 0.97 percent to QR61.10.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.27 points while the Service sector gained 0.95 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 0.21 points and Insurance sector down 1.18 points. (QNA)
