Doha: Newly promoted Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Muaither welcomed two new professional players to their squad, ahead of the start of their preseason training.
The club had already announced the signing of Uruguayan midfielder Matías Mier, and the former Atletico Renistas midfielder was welcomed to the club by Muaither officials. Whilst the club also announced the signing for Brazilian defender Bruno Aguiar who joined the side on a one year deal from Joinville. Whilst in other news, Muaither confirmed that they have renewed the contract of Jordanian striker Mahmoud Za’tara, who was influential in helping the falcons get promoted to the QSL for the second time in their history.
The club is set to head to Bosnia for their preseason training camp from August 1 to 20.
Meanwhile, QSL side Al Arabi’s new head coach Gerardo Pelusso led his side in training for the first time on Monday evening, as the Dream Team continue their preparations ahead of the new QSL season.
Pelusso and his staff also welcomed new signing Luis Jiménez who officially trained with the squad for the first time. One noticeable absence for the side was Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah, who is set to return to Doha in the upcoming days.
Meanwhile, reported new loan signing Wagner Ribero from El Jaish is also set to join up with his new team-mates in the next week.
Al Arabi is now set to train in Doha till July 30, before heading to their preseason training camp in Nuremberg, Germany till August 26 .
