PTI trains officers in body language

Doha: The Police Training Institute (PTI) at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) yesterday celebrated the graduation of the first batch of officers who were trained on the sense of security and body language.

About 14 officers from various departments of the ministry attended the session which was held at the institute headquarters from August 18 to 20.

This session was held in the context of specialised training plan approved for the PTI to develop a level of performance and boost the size of the responsibility it has been assigned with.

Captain Abdul Aziz Ali Al Mohannadi, the Acting Assistant Director of the PTI said that the development Qatar has been witnessing in the various fields makes it incumbent on all of us to provide the best and the highest levels of courses to train qualified staff to do their jobs to the best.

Capt Al Mohannadi pointed out that the MoI attaches great importance to the rehabilitative and training process in the sense of security and body language to provide the participants with the knowledge, technical and behavioural skills that contribute to the development of a sense of security and to identify the body language semantics.

He urged the participants to take advantage of the topics and information they acquired during the session, wishing all success. QNA
