Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Sunday morning a phone call from President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Sisterly Republic of Sudan HE Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan.
At the onset of the call, HE Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for the solidarity and support of the State of Qatar to Sudan to overcome the flood crisis that swept several Sudanese states.
During the phone call, they also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.
