Doha: The Public Prosecution has been awarded the ISO certification in financial and administrative affairs.
Departments of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Information Systems and Criminal Affairs got ISO 9001:2008 from TUV in recognition of its application of the highest international quality standards.
Officials of the ISO-obtaining departments told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that their departments’ obtaining the certification was not a target in itself, but rather came as a natural result for their adoption of the maximum levels of distinction, quality and specifications in the work fields of those departments.
They noted that the Public Prosecution is applying modern systems using electronic tools that spare paper work within the Public Prosecution departments, between employees or with the public.
