Doha: Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the leading jewellery retailers opened its 135th outlet in Sohar, Oman. Prominent Indian Film Actress Kajal Aggarwal inaugurated this showroom on September 18 in the presence of Khamis Al Mandhri, Acting Chief of West Asian Department, Oman; Shamlal Ahamed M P, Managing Director - International Operations; Abdul Salam K P, Group Executive Director; other Directors; personalities from media and other well-wishers.
A huge gathering of over 20,000 residents of Sohar thronged the venue to witness the inauguration and to see their favourite celebrity.
Conveniently located in Lulu Hypermarket, Sohar, this new showroom will take the total number of Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Oman to eight. The company is also planning to launch two more stores in the coming months in the Sultanate at Seeb and Ruwi. Apart from this showroom, the jewellery group already operates in Soharat Al Hamber Street and this showroom was opened owing to the consistent increase in the number of customers, especially family customers.
