New York: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani received on Monday a phone call from US Secretary of State H E Antony Blinken.
The conversation dealt with reviewing bilateral relations, the latest developments in Afghanistan, and a host of regional and international issues of joint interest.
The US Secretary of State thanked the State of Qatar for its role in facilitating the release of a US national who was kidnapped in Afghanistan in 2020.
