DOHA: The 11th International Furniture and Design Exhibition (Infdex 2013) will open on Wednesday at the Doha Exhibition Centre.
The four-day event, which is being organised by Qatar Expo with its main sponsor Istikbal, saw 100 percent sale of stall space this year.
The previous Infdex attracted thousands of visitors and this year it is expecting a crowd of 10,000 people over a period of four days. It has more than 50 exhibitors from various countries including Turkey, Egypt, India, UAE, Italy, Bahrain, Lebanon, KSA, USA and Qatar.
A mainstay on Qatar’s exhibition circuit, this year’s Infdex will exhibit favourite elements of ethnic, classic and modern furniture, a world-class production, the hottest up-and-coming designers, and an exclusive slice of Qatar’s multicultural arts promotion and ethnic diversity.
Exhibition timings are 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 10pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Friday it will open from 4pm to 10pm.
