Qapco sponsors symposium on people with special needs

Doha: Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco), the leading regional petrochemical powerhouse, has announced that it would support to the 2nd edition of the symposium aimed at uniting and empowering people with special needs.  This symposium is organised by  Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Independent Preparatory School for Boys supported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

Qapco signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with   Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Preparatory School, to become the main sponsor of the event. 

The three-day symposium will take place in Wakra, from the October 29 to 31 at the school.

This seminar aims at bringing together parents, educators, researchers, therapists, social centres, teachers and people with special needs and learning challenges. The audience will be able to participate in workshops, focus groups, network and interact as well as attend specialised lectures.

CEO of Qapco said: “The engagement, involvement and support extended by  Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Preparatory School to the people with special needs is admirable and it is our responsibility to offer our support to their endeavour.”
