ISLAMABAD: At least two soldiers were killed and two injured Friday in a bomb attack on their vehicle in north-western Pakistan, police said.
The bomb was fixed on a motorbike parked on Warsak Road in Mathra area of Peshawar, capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, and exploded as the soldiers' vehicle was passing.
Senior police official Shakirullah Bangash said the bomb was detonated by remote control.
"Two soldiers were killed and two more injured in the attack," he said.
Up to 5 kilograms of explosive material was used in the bomb, another police official said.(QNA)
