Tax evaders include 40,000 car owners

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue’s intelligence outfit has obtained the data of 40,000 owners of vehicles in the price range of over Rs3m each in order to identify potential tax evaders from all over the country.
“In Islamabad alone, the FBR has gathered the data of owners of 2,753 luxury vehicles in order to identify those who are still out of the tax net,” official sources disclosed yesterday.
