The 2016 Qatar ExxonMobil Junior Open Tennis Tournament will mark its conclusion at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex today.
Talented local junior star Nasser Al Yafai claimed the title of boys under 14 category after beating Hamad Al Rumaihi 2-0 in the final match. Turky Majed Al Abdullah won the title of boys under 12 category following his 2-0 victory over Meshaal Al Khenji.
In the boys under 12 doubles final, Adel Ghanim and Meshaal Al Khenji will take on Ghanim Zainal and Turky Majed Al Abdullah today. In the boys under 10 category (green stage), Nasser Al Khelaifi qualified to the final match after beating Jassim Al Thani in the semifinals. Ghanim Al Sulaiti also made to the final.  The girls under 12 final will be a family affair as Amna Al Qaeet will be looking to bag honours over her  sister Sarah Al Qaeet today.
The championship reflects the strong partnership between the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and ExxonMobil Qatar as it is considered one of the tournaments that aim at developing the skills of local talent.
