Cairo: The Egyptian presidency said that during President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's handshake with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the opening events of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Doha Sunday, it was agreed to mark this occasion as the fresh start of the development of bilateral relations between the two sides.
In his official account on Facebook, the Egyptian Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Radi said that the shared confirmation was made pertaining to the depth of the historic bonds between the two countries and the Turkish and Egyptian peoples, adding that it was agreed to make this occasion a fresh start of the bilateral relations between the two sides.
