DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has handed over three new mosques to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs after completion of construction.
All the three structures represent a blend of modern construction styles, local traditions and Islamic architecture. The Juma Masjid at Industrial Area was constructed with an area of 3,328 sq m and the facilities include residence of Imam, greenery and parking space, among others. The QR12,687,185 project started in May last year and was completed by November this year.
