Ashghal hands over three mosques to Awqaf Ministry

DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has handed over three new mosques to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs after completion of construction.

All the three structures represent a blend of modern construction styles, local traditions and Islamic architecture. The Juma Masjid at Industrial Area was constructed with an area of 3,328 sq m and the facilities include residence of Imam, greenery and parking space, among others. The QR12,687,185 project started in May last year and was completed by November this year. The other two mosques are located in Al Wakra – Masjid No 9 has an area of 340 sq m and Masjid No 11 occupies 420 sq m of area, with parking space for 37 cars. The Peninsula
