On December 16, Pearl School held its 4th Annual Day Celebrations at Qatar National Convention Center.
The esteemed guests for the evening were Hemant Kumar Dwivedi, First Secretary, Embassy of India; AT Srinivasan, Chief Information Officer, Qatar Airways; and Abdul Rahman Abdulla Al Ansari, Patron, Pearl School.
The function was graced by eminent dignitaries, esteemed members of the Indian community in Doha, media and about 2000 parents. The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the ‘Welcome Address’ by President, Sam Mathew.
Hemant Kumar Dwivedi congratulated the school on completing four successful years and encouraged the teachers and students to take the school to greater heights.
AT Srinivasan addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of value education for young students. Abdul Rahman Abdulla Al Ansari expressed his pride and happiness at the tremendous progress shown by the school.
The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the school choir which filled the ambience with rhythm and melody. The enchanting Fusion dance mesmerised the audience.
Pearl School expressed its solidarity with Qatar by showing a film on Qatar National Vision 2030. The event was divided into two sessions.
The morning session showcased the talent of the little Pearls of classes 1 and 2 of both the Thumama and West Bay Campuses. The evening session was filled with scintillating performances by the sparkling pearls of classes 3 to 7 of both Campuses , who set the stage on fire with skits and musical performances related to this year’s theme – Sanskar (traditional values.)
