DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in the green area Tuesday adding 15.10 points (or 0.18%) to advance to 8,623.15 points from 8,608.05 Monday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 3,218,075 from 6,054,840 on Monday, and the value of shares decreased to QR200,299,484.36 from QR335,566,103.12 Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.07% to QR134.40, Qatar Insurance rose 1.99% to QR69.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 0.13% to QR76.50 and Qatar Navigation up by 0.76% to QR65.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.32 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.11 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.39 points while insurance sector dropped 1.52 points. (QNA)
