The rich and powerful are in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum’s 50th annual meeting, and the gathering is being closely watched to see how the global elite aims to tackle problems they helped create, above all climate change.
U.S. President Donald Trump dominated proceedings for a second day, touting his economic achievements, attacking political opponents and calling the impeachment trial, which began on Tuesday, a "hoax.”
Before heading back to the U.S., Trump said he is aiming to agree on a trade deal with the European Union by the next U.S. election in November and announced a new push to reform the World Trade Organization.
