DOHA: Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) organised the first health exhibition under the theme ‘My Healthy Habits: Make My Life More Beautiful’ at Qatar Educational Complex for Girls, with the participation of 11 state institutions.
The two-day exhibition aimed to raise awareness of cancer and how to prevent it, spread the culture of the adoption of healthy lifestyles, especially among youth, and encourage regular tests for early detection of the disease. It also aimed to highlight health services related to the disease, capacity development of various age groups, especially younger age groups, to educate them on how to deal with the disease and activate the community’s role in providing physical and moral support for patients.
