Ankara---Some 700 elite Turkish troops entered Syria overnight Saturday to repatriate soldiers from a Turkish enclave surrounded by Islamic State militants, Turkish media said.
Around 40 soldiers were guarding the pocket of Turkish territory that contains the Ottoman-era tomb, said to be the final resting place of Suleiman Shah, grandfather of the Ottoman empire's founder, Osman I.
