Doha: Cityscape Qatar 2015, one of the Middle East’s leading real estate development and investment events, will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Interior Minister  H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani from May 11 to 13 at Doha Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition and summit will showcase real estate investment opportunities and services to private and professional investors and industry professionals from Qatar, the region and around the globe. It will also bring together asset managers and financiers, architects, urban planners and designers, real estate developers, stadium designers and professional service providers, government and regulatory officials and senior executives involved in the design and construction of public and private real estate developments.
Many projects will be discussed as plans are underway for major projects, including Qatar Rail project, hotels and stadiums being developed for FIFA World Cup 2022.
The expo will also feature projects from Barwa Real Estate, Ezdan Holding, United Development Company and Msheireb Properties. All these projects will deliver vast investment and growth in transportation, residential and commercial real estate and build new establishments for sporting and leisure activities in the country.
Deep Marwaha, Group Director, Cityscape Qatar, said: “Cityscape is the leading portfolio of real estate events and provides an opportunity for exhibitors and participants to come together and ensure their brands and projects are seen by influential stakeholders.
“We are delighted to have support of the Prime Minister, which  serves to further highlight the overall commitment to real estate development Qatar has made.”
Real estate development opportunities and infrastructure projects are crucial to the country as it works on implementing the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, including economic, human and social development as it aims to diversify from a hydrocarbon-based economy.
The event allows delegates and visitors to engage in a dynamic environment that gives insight into the future of Qatari and Middle East real estate sector.
It is supported by its foundation sponsor, United Development Company (UDC) that works to identify and invest in long-term projects that contribute to Qatar’s growth.
UDC focuses on projects in a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on those related to infrastructure and real estate.
This largest real estate event to be held in the country is positioned to build on the success of previous events and will include exhibitions, panel discussions, and presentations, along with deals due to be struck.
This year the event will host the annual Qatar Real Estate Summit from May 11 to 13 at Doha Exhibition Center.
The summit will bring together developers, consultants, banking and finance, architects and designers, government and fund managers.
Participants will have access to more than 150 delegates and over 40 speakers. The summit is the only platform in Qatar which focuses on the real estate sector as it brings together key players for debates, in-depth analyses and discussion on the industry’s trends.the peninsula
