Kuwait: The Pan-Arab Excellence Awards Academy presented Qatar News Agency (QNA) with the best smart applications award in the category of media organisations.
Engineer Khalid Mohammed Al Mutawa, Director, Technical Affairs, received the award and a certificate of excellence during a ceremony at Kuwait Symphony Style Hotel. The academy and Kuwait’s Central Agency for Information Technology honoured the winners of the sixth contest, including those from Lebanon, the UAE, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The awards recognise efforts of Arab governments for adopting the best web standards and practices on their websites and social media for more effective, open and transparent interaction with the public, building bridges between people and state institutions. QNA
