Doha: Ooredoo will begin rebranding all its signage in neighbourhood dealers, as part of a community-based initiative that will cover the entire country, it was announced yesterday.

The company works with a wide range of small businesses, from corner shops to grocery stores, which provide a vital channel for the community to purchase Ooredoo products and services including SIM cards and Hala recharge cards.

At a recent gala event held at the Sheraton Doha, Ooredoo announced that it will rebrand all of the posters, signage and window decals for co-branded dealers throughout Qatar.

More than 700 dealers attended the event, representing around 800 individual stores and outlets, and the event saw gifts and prizes distributed to the dealers by senior members of the management team from Ooredoo

The replacement signage will be provided free by Ooredoo. Rebranding will roll-out starting in Doha, and will continue in phases to cover the entire country.

At the event, Ooredoo staff explained the updated vision of Ooredoo, which was launched in March. The Ooredoo brand focuses on promoting human growth and helping customers reach their dreams and aspirations, and emphasises the company’s values of caring, connecting and challenging.

As part of its investment into local businesses, Ooredoo will continue to provide dealers with product information, train them in how to sell Ooredoo products and services, and reward the top-performing companies.

As Ooredoo rebrands signage, the company will also emphasise the great value of the Hala prepaid charge cards, which are the most popular product and service in neighbourhood dealers. Hala enables customers to keep in touch with friends and family both in Qatar and around the world at great value rates.

Premium dealers, including Q-Post and Starlink, offer customers a wide range of specialised Ooredoo services including bill payments, Shahry plans, and products like USB modems.

There is also a nationwide network of distributors, providing a range of Hala products. In the coming months, Ooredoo will continue to expand its nationwide network of retail shops and Self-Service Machines.
