DOHA: The Advisory Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee met here today.
At the outset of the meeting, the committee elected Youssuf Rashid Al Khatir as its acting rapporteur.
Afterwards the committee continued the study of a draft law regulating the practice of hajj and umrah services in the attendance of HE the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari and Assistant Director of Hajj and Umrah Department and Deputy Chairman of the Hajj Committee Nasser Youssuf Al Selaiti.
HE the minister explained the ministry's viewpoint on the draft law and responded to the committee's members inquiries thereon. (QNA)
