Doha, Qatar: Minister of Environment and Climate Change H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie has honoured national companies collaborating with the ministry in the safe disposal of electronic waste initiative, namely Al Hayat Company, Seashore Sustainability, and Al Nafees Factory, in recognition of their role in supporting the ministry’s efforts to regulate the safe handling of this type of waste.

The recognition comes as part of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change’s commitment to appreciating the contributions of national companies that support environmental initiatives.

The ministry emphasised that cooperation with the private sector represents a key pillar in developing practical solutions for electronic waste management through its collection, transportation, and handling in accordance with approved environmental standards. This, in turn, supports safe recycling practices and the utilisation of recyclable materials.
