Doha: The students of Ideal Indian School (IIS) have celebrated Father’s Day in a spectacular way in order to make their fathers proud and pay filial respect and gratitude.
The KG Section wore a festive look with the students dressed in colourful clothes impersonated ‘fathers’ from various nationalities. The parade, which was attended by about 144 students, saw children dressed like their fathers, with some pasting placards and photos with quotes about him.
The KG-1 students had a special colouring activity called ‘Super Dad’ and the children fixed a colourful Superman cape on their suspended colouring outline. KG 2 children actively took part in making hand puppets, in which they pasted hats, moustaches, bows and paper fan backgrounds on their faces with a stick attached to hold them.
Students highlighted the importance of the father in their families and praised the love and care they provide.
