Landmark, QC urge clothes donation

Doha: Landmark Group, Qatar has announced the launch of its ‘Clothes Collection Drive’ in partnership with Qatar Charity (QC). 
It is launched in Al Asmakh Mall, Barwa Plaza Wakra & City Center during Ramadan.
Residents are invited to donate used clothes and place them in QC boxes at these malls. The clothes will be distributed to the underprivileged. Donated garments need to be clean and wearable. Customers can also choose to purchase basic items such as blankets and clothes and put them in the boxes.
Santosh Pai, COO, Landmark Group, Qatar, said: “QC runs several key projects across destitute areas in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. We commend their work and are pleased to partner with them on this project. 
Abdullah Dosari, Head of In-kind Donations Department, QC, said: “Cooperation between companies, community and aid organisations is the only way to ensure that assistance is constantly provided to communities where basic humanitarian standard of living are challenged. We appreciate Landmark Group’s support and look forward to Qatar community’s contribution to making this initiative a success.”
