DOHA: The banking regulator will issue new and crisp currency bills of all denominations on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, which is less than a week away. People crave for crisp riyal bills on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr as they must give cash gifts particularly to children.
Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issues new and crisp riyal notes ahead of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr every year. The QCB, QNA reported yesterday quoting it, keeps circulating large amounts of bank notes throughout the year. The amount has so far this year reached a staggering QR1.7bn.
