Olsztyn, Poland: Qatar Beach volleyball team, Jefferson Parreira and Sherif Younis, continued their brilliance in the 4-star FIVB World Tour - Olsztyn beach volleyball event and qualified for the round 3 after beating their German counterpart Dillinger / Erdman with two clean sets 21-18 and 21-18.
The team have earlier beaten the world’s number 14, the US team Brunner and Paterson, in the second round of the World Tour. The Qatari duo was to face their Mexican counterparts yesterday.
Qatari team’s participation in the tournament is part of their preparatory program to partaking, for the first time, in the World Beach Volleyball Championship, which will be held in Vienna from July 28 to August 6.
The draw has put Qatar in group B along with Latvia, Germany and Venezuela.
