Khartoum: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) announced the implementation of the sacrifice project, on the first day of Eid Al Adha for the year 1442AH in cooperation with Widam Food Company.
The Director of the Representative Office of Qatar Red Crescent Society in Sudan Awadallah Hamdan Al Siddiq, said that the number of beneficiaries of the project this year amounted to 4,500 needy families, comprising more than 23,000 people.
Al Siddiq added that the sacrifices were supplied from the local Sudanese markets, where Widam Food Company slaughters and prepares them, provided that the distribution process takes place during the days of sacrifice, according to the teachings of Islamic Sharia.
