Doha: The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli drone attack targeting a civilian vehicle in the village of Beit Jin, located in the Damascus countryside of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in injuries among civilians. Qatar considers this an unacceptable assault, a violation of Syria's sovereignty, and a threat to its security and safety.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Israel’s continued violation of the sovereignty of regional states constitutes a dangerous approach, an unacceptable escalation, and a disregard for the provisions of international law.
The Ministry emphasized the necessity for the international community to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to these violations and preventing their recurrence, warning that the absence of accountability encourages further transgressions and threatens security and stability in the region.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance in standing alongside the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, affirming its solidarity with its government and its support for all measures aimed at preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
