Paladion helps Qatar Rail get ISO 27001

DOHA: Globally acclaimed Information Security Firm, Paladion Networks recently facilitated Qatar Rail in successfully attaining the International Organisation for Standardisation Certification (ISO 27001), earning the prestigious accreditation after external assessments.

In order to prepare Qatar Rail to be certified, Paladion carried out a risk assessment of the firm’s security polices then implemented an information security management system (ISM) that would comply with the ISO 27001 standards. 

It allows organisations to demonstrate excellence and prove best practice in Information Security management. The standard enables organisations to achieve conformance to an information security management system which requires them to continually improve their control of confidential and sensitive information.

Commenting on the Qatar Rail achieving the certification, Amit Roy, Business Head, ME, Paladion Networks said, “ISO 27001 is a globally accepted standard that provides a risk-based approach to secure sensitive information in assets.
