DOHA: The second edition of Qatar International Exhibition and Conference for Transport and Logistics is set to be held from this week from Thursday to Saturday, said Al Baida Group (ABG) in a statement yesterday.
Ali Abdul Latif Al Misnad, the CEO of ABG said the event will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, and will be inaugurated by the Minister of Transport H E Jassim bin Seif Al Sulaiti. Misnad said that Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser’s patronage of the event will be a huge support for the expo and the exhibitors participating.
It also reaffirms the government’s keenness to implement various development programmes and plans featured in the Qatar National Vision 2030, Misnad added.
The second Qatar International Exhibition and Conference for Transport and Logistics is held amid a huge increase in spending in the transport sector and related infrastructure in the GCC.
The conference held in parallel with the exhibition will feature several workshops related to transport, railroads, and logistics. More than 10,000 are expected to visit the exhibition.
