A technician walks the ground at a power station on Villanaco hill in Loja, Ecuador, yesterday. The Villanaco wind farm, which consists of 11 wind turbines, is situated at 2,720 metres above sea level and generate 16.5 megawatts of clean and renewable energy, which meets close to 46 percent of the local population’s energy demand.
