QNB Stars League side Al Sadd have been awarded a 3-0 victory in their opening game of the season against Al Markhiya following a decision made by the QFA Disciplinary Committee.
The decision has been made in relation to Al Markhiya fielding an ineligible player in the match which they won 2-1 in the opening round of the QNB Stars League season. The verdict means that the previous result is now void, and that Al Sadd won the game 3-0. The result means that Al Sadd are now top of the QNB standings.
Al Sadd are set to take on Al Sailiya in their second match of the QNB Stars League season, whilst Al Markhiya are set to play fellow promoted side Qatar SC this weekend.
