DOHA: Nominations for the second edition of Reyada–the Qatari Entrepreneur Awards will close on November 30, the Social Development Center (SDC) said. First launched by SDC in 2011, Reyada is the leading entrepreneurship awards programme in Qatar. The award has been designed to honour Qatari entrepreneurs, as well as individuals and organisations that support entrepreneurial ventures.
“At SDC, we don’t just encourage leadership, we practice it too. Since its inception SDC has been a leader in providing support to both budding and existing entrepreneurs,” said Munther Al Dawood, Manager of the Projects & Investment, SDC. Nominees are selected within three different categories each year, two of which are for New Ventures and a third for the Entrepreneurial Support under the following names, the New Venture Challenge Award, Entrepreneur Achiever Award, and Outstanding Entrepreneurial Support. Each category holds a Golden and Silver accolade.
