DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Tuesday 7.92 points or 0.08 percent to 9,723.64 points from the previous closing of 9,731.56 points.
The volume of the shares down to 6,009,280 from 8,432,880 on Monday and the value of shares decreased to QR 293,275,183.07 from QR 362,768,521.33 Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.36 percent to QR 166.10, Intl. Islamic Bank lost 0.35 percent to QR 56.80, Electricity & Water fell 1.85 percent to QR154.10 and Comm. Bank of Qatar down by 0.74 percent to QR 67.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.20 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.19 percent points.
The industrial sector was lost 0.46 percent points while insurance sector added 1.07 percent points. (QNA)
