DOHA: Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) is encouraging last minute registrations to secure a spot in its 5km Fun Run, which takes place on Thursday evening at Khalifa International Stadium.
Hundreds of people have already registered and will have the opportunity to see unique parts of the stadium during the fun run.
The event will begin on the running track and the route will then incorporate other areas of the iconic sports venue, giving entrants the chance to see parts of the stadium normally reserved for professional athletes.
Aspire’s Khalifa Stadium 5km Run Around is being organised by Aspire Logistics and is one of community participation events planned across the Aspire Zone precinct in the months ahead. It takes place this Thursday at 6.30pm and is open to both men and women aged 16 and over.
