Jwainat, Director, Marketing and Communications, Oryx Rotana, said, “This is the first time Oryx Rotana participates in such event to provide job opportunities for Qataris in one of the fastest growing sectors in Qatar, which reflects the growth of the country.
“We are not different from the local companies despite being a global brand, but we are owned by Qatar Airways, the national carrier.
“We support the recruitment of Qatari young talents and the new generation looking forward to representing their country in the hospitality sector.
“During the past few years, the hospitality sector has attracted a small number of Qataris, and what we aspire is to have the finest of our young generation who will give the best impression for hotel visitors. Our participation in the career day comes from our faith that there are no better people to run the tourism industry in Qatar than the nationals. They know the country and can see the potential of growing with it.
“Career opportunities for Qatari are always open and not restricted to today’s career day. Our human resources vision is to be the preferred employer by sourcing potential candidates, providing job security and career enhancement through training and development and creating a sense of belonging and loyalty within Rotana Hotel’s team.”
