Doha: Umm Salal’s Abdulgadir Ilyas Adam scored the lone goal of the match to give his team a stunning 1-0 win over Al Arabi in the eight round match of the Qatar Stars League here yesterday.
At Arabi Stadium, Abdulgadir found the net in the 22 minute. Umm Salal now have 11 points from eight matches while Al Arabi have 12 points.
In the other match yesterday, Al Gharafa trounced Al Shahaniya, the newcomers to the QSL, 3-0. Lopez gave the lead in the 14th minute and 18 minutes later Nene made it 2-0.
