Qatar Toastmasters Club recently hosted a hybrid meeting both in person and virtually. About 15 members of the Club met in-person while others joined the meeting via Zoom.
The meeting came in line with the club’s aim to provide the best public speaking experience to members while following the government regulations of maintaining a safe meeting environment.
Qatar Toastmasters Club is one of the first clubs established in Qatar since 1997. It is the largest club in Qatar with over 70 members from different nationalities. The club is affiliated to Toastmasters International, the leading US-based non-profit organization dedicated to creating effective leaders and communicators worldwide. Club members meet every first and third Sunday evening of every month.
The Toastmasters’ mission is to empower people to find the courage to change, achieve their potential, and ultimately share in the mission of contributing to the betterment of society.
