DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Thursday, adding 2.32 points (or 0.03%) to advance to 8,409.85 points from 8,407.53 Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 2,202,155 from 2,560,632on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR104,705,566.79 from QR102,401,839.77 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were International Islamic Bank which was up 0.77% to QR52.50, Vodafone Qatar rose 1.05% to QR8.69, National Leasing gained 0.44% to QR45.90 and General Insurance up by 0.86% to QR46.90.
The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.92 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 24.61 points. The industrial sector gained 9.43 points while insurance sector rose 3.53 points. (QNA)
