Second Qatar expat dies of MERS

DOHA: The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) yesterday announced the death of a 48-year-old expatriate infected with MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) and suffering from several chronic diseases.
This is the second MERS death involving an expatriate in Qatar. On Tuesday, SCH had announced the death of a 61-year-old expat due to MERS. 
It had also said a 48-year-old expatriate suffering from MERS had recovered after three weeks’ treatment. 
SCH said yesterday there was  no new confirmed MERS case in the country. The Peninsula
